Plan to arrive May 22 for Royal Caribbean or May 23 for Virgin Voyages. Same-day flights create unnecessary risk. I can assist with pre-cruise hotel arrangements.
Virgin Voyages requires a valid passport that expires at least six months after the voyage ends—for this sailing, it should remain valid through at least November 29, 2027. For eligible U.S. citizens sailing with Royal Caribbean, accepted cruise-boarding documents include a valid passport or an original state-certified birth certificate issued by the government—no photocopies—together with a valid government-issued photo ID, such as a driver’s license. A passport remains the recommended option. These cruise-boarding requirements are separate from the identification required to fly. You are responsible for confirming and carrying all documents required by the cruise line, airline, and destination.
